TRADITIONALLY IT WAS USED TO ELIMINATE MUCUS, KIDNEY STONES AND ANIMAL WASTE FROM THE BODY.
Daikon is a long, white turnip.
It is harvested from winter to spring, cut into strips and left to dry in the sun.
Soak in water for 5 minutes and eat raw with salad. It can also be boiled with cereals and vegetables.
