Omega-3 fatty acids are essential for anabolic processes and help combat possible cardiovascular diseases.

They are also adjuvants to inflammatory processes.

The most important of these are EICOSAPENTANOIC ACID (EPA) and DOCOSAHEXANOIC ACID (DHA).
